On Sunday 21st May the organisation Changing Suits will be hosting the Sahara Health Fair, a family-fun event to raise awareness about mental health within the South Asian community. The event will be taking place at the Broadgreen Community Centre at 12pm to 4pm.
Sahara means ‘support’ in South Asian languages, and this event is to allow the South Asian community to get the support they need.
Sahara Health Fair will be attended by specialist doctors and other medical professionals, as well as local service providers, who will provide health and wellbeing advice and information on the help which is available.
This family event will also have entertainment for children, including face painting, mendhi and arts and crafts.
