Westrop Medical Practice merged with Moredon Surgery on the 09th of January 2023.
As part of our efforts to bring Moredon Surgery into line with Westrop’s policies and procedures, the two separate clinical computer systems holding patient notes will be merged together on the 14th of February 2023.
Unfortunately this does mean that the Practice will not have access to the system from 1620 on the 14th February and will not regain access until 0800 on the 15th of February. This means that for this period of time staff will not have access to the following –
- Appointment details (including the ability to book routine appointments)
- Prescription details
- Any data contained within your notes (including referral, appointment or test result information)
If you are expecting to have an appointment during this period, please do attend as normal, paper notes will be printed and paper prescriptions will be available, any additional information will be added to our clinical system after this date.
Whilst we will not have access to patient notes, we will continue to book patients in for urgent appointments during this period where appropriate.
We will take every step to ensure that the impact on our patients due to the system merge is minimal we do apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
