Online Services

Online services (Online Appointments and Repeat Prescriptions) are now available. This is done through SystmOnline. To take advantage of these services you will need to create an individual account which is generated by a unique letter supplied by the Practice’s clinical computer system. Please ask at Reception.

Alternatively please leave your request for a repeat prescription at reception or post it to the surgery. Tick the items you need on the right-hand section of your previous prescription form. Your prescription will be ready for collection 48 hours later. If you prefer, we can post it back to you (you will need to provide a stamped, addressed envelope).

We are keen to ensure that patients with ongoing medical problems are monitored regularly. If the date for your next review with a doctor or nurse has passed you will be asked to make an appointment.

Many local Pharmacies now offer a “collect and deliver” service for patients who need regular medication. You can telephone and register with one of these, and all you have to do then, is let them know when you have ordered prescriptions, and they will collect these from us, dispense them, and deliver them to you. More information of Pharmacies that offer this service can be obtained from reception.

Introduced in 2006 was a Repeat Dispensing Scheme.  This allowed patients having regular medication to have their prescriptions issued  for 6 or 12 months.  This is done in conjunction with Local Pharmacists and may mean you do not have to visit the surgery everytime you need a repeat prescription.
